Top 5 Branded Travel Essentials
I’m sure you’ll have noticed from watching and reading the news that travel is well and truly back on the table in a post-Covid world.
This week in the office we were all discussing branded merchandise products and how they can be useful to the end-user- particularly when it comes to travelling!
One of the perks of working in this industry is that you’re in the know about what items are going to make your life that little bit easier. So, without any further ado, here are our top five suitcase essentials for that next business trip or holiday.
1. Branded Power Banks
Making sure you’ve got enough power to stay connected can make all the difference to how you spend your time when you actually reach your destination. While it’s great that flight times are gradually getting shorter, time spent in the air can be ideal for getting any work that’s mounting up out the way.
And from experience, you’ll cut your stress by having your itinerary, tickets and boarding pass on your mobile device with enough power to navigate with your favourite map app and check progress at every point on your journey.
It means not having to worry about missing deadlines and generally staying on top of things. But also, spending your days taking photos, using social media, checking emails and everything else that we rely on a mobile phone for these days means you’ll burn through your phone’s energy supply pretty quickly. Add a pre-charged power bank to your luggage ready for any emergencies.
2. Branded Adaptors
What about when you arrive? Having power on tap is something that we generally take for granted when at home but it’s an awkward situation when you’re trying to find a way to sign ‘UK adaptor’ to a bemused shop employee.
Packing a reliable adaptor that’ll work wherever you go will mean you’ve (ahem) got the power. Adaptors are always on our hit-list of useful products but even more so when travel is in the mix.
3. Branded Luggage Scales
If you’re like us you’ll find inspiration almost everywhere you go when out and about exploring your destination. And the answer without a doubt is to leave space in your suitcase on your way out to accommodate all the interesting things you collect along the way.
With the strict restrictions airlines impose on the weight of the luggage you’re able to take on the flight, it can be a huge disappointment to be hit with a surcharge at check-in on your way back. Having your own luggage scales can be very useful to avoid any excess baggage charges or hold-ups at the airport.
4. Branded Backpacks
Backpacks are an absolute essential, no matter how near or far you’re travelling. They are a great way of keeping everything together and are arguably more comfortable and handy than your average laptop bag. Not only is it a great way of gifting something truly useful, but it’s a neat way of informing those around you that you’re travelling on business, and which business that is.
5. Branded Travel Mugs
When you’re at the mercy of an overnight flight itinerary or a whole new time zone, a good travel mug that holds that crucial caffeinated beverage of choice is going to become your best friend. It also means you have the means to grab a coffee and take it with you when you reach your destination. Whether you’re travelling for business and therefore cramming as much in as possible, or travelling with over-excited children, coffee to hand is certain to come in handy.
If your market includes a substantial portion of people who travel a lot, finding a hook into a well-designed and practical piece of merchandise can really work wonders for your brand.
They’ve all got one thing in common, and that’s taking the hassle out of being away from home. Having your name on an item that helps keep people prepared for any travel trials and tribulations that might pop up along the way can only really be a good thing!
